Creativity has always been a massive driving force in my life; I have been a maker since I was 7 years old. Now, as an adult, I am fortunate to have a career that gives me the opportunity to use my creative and problem-solving skills simultaneously. I have been working in the web design/development and graphic design industry continuously since 1999, where I served my first Webmaster and IT roles at L. H. Selman Ltd. Glass Gallery in Santa Cruz, CA.

I come from a long line of artisans and crafters, so having my first career position be in fine art was a perfect fit. My grandfather was a master glazier, woodworker and artist; I grew up in his woodshop. My grandmother was an expert dressmaker, needle-craftswoman, knitter, baker and cook. My weekends growing up were filled with as much handmade knowledge as I could possibly devour.

The interest that I had in art, and the training and mentorship I had growing up and as an Art Minor in college continue to serve me today. To this day I sew, make costumes, attend Comic Cons, and create in what has become my favorite hobby: Miniatures.

Below is a sampling of my art outside of the digital world. I deeply enjoy the craft of art, whether it be digital or physical.
